The AFROSAI-E team was from Malawi, Liberia, Ghana, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa. There were 8 resource persons from AFROSAI-E, Samoa Island, Philippines, Jamaica, Kenya and Sierra Leone took part in the reviews. Bringing together SAIs across the region presented a greater learning opportunity for the SAIs to share their practices across the INTOSAI Regions. The SAIs are now expected to have their Strategy Plans approved by the Heads of SAIs. Based on the approved Plans, the IDI in together with other interested stakeholders will design some mechanisms on what support to provide at SAI level which will be dependent on the Strategy Plans as well as SAI readiness to engage.
